R.J. Bain is an Emmy Award-winning Editor and Television Producer.

Bain has produced and edited a wide variety of unscripted and branded entertainment for broadcast, cable and digital distribution, including MTV’s groundbreaking hit docuseries, Catfish: The TV Show. He has created content for several outlets, including CBS, NBC, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, MTV, FX, A&E, ESPN and Lifetime.

Most recently, Bain served as Lead Editor on Issa Rae’s revival of the Project Greenlight franchise for HBOMax and produced by HOORAE MediaAlfred Street Industries and Miramax.  Bain also served as Lead Editor on NBC’s  “Home Sweet Home”, created and executive produced by acclaimed filmmaker, Ava DuVernay.  Bain holds a masters degree in Comparative Media Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
